The vulnerability of a girl points to softness and frailty — but between two girls come an enigmatic and heavier presence that attracts and fascinate. Through that, beauty has become power. Considering the relationship between the modern girls and plants, the artists present works of clinical tenderness to interrogate the beauty and allure of modernization and our attraction towards plants; works that oscillate between a traditional approach and a refusal to be contained within its medium, including meticulous graphite drawing, watercolours and Chinese meticulous painting of dreamlike environments and personalities.
