This set of mixed-media textured paintings constructs two vastly different visions of life through a narrative of contrasting warm and cool tones. The warm-hued piece shimmers with sunset-like orange, crimson and gilded yellow, its sprawling wrinkled, rugged textures evoking a burning twilight on land, brimming with wild, vibrant primal energy. The cool-toned work settles into translucent shades of blue, its delicate textures resembling deep sea or a moonlit wilderness, quiet and restrained, holding subtle, enduring calm.

Rejecting figurative storytelling, the artist speaks through thickly layered materials, where undulating textures become vessels for emotion. Light sweeping across the canvas casts shifting shadows over the uneven surface, gifting the static painting a breathing, fluid quality. Mirroring each other, the two works balance fire and stillness. Distilled from natural moods, they leave space for the viewer’s own reflection, inviting us to discover poetry where passion and tranquility coexist.
