作品描述

This is an acrylic painting done on a wood panel. I wanted to get playful with the main color here - usually enjoying natural tones, I thought ‘how far can I push some of the familiar colors I’m drawn to, so it begins to feel a bit manmade as opposed to organic?’ So I ended up with this tone that I characterize as an ‘electric yellow-green’. It was tricky to photograph, but this is pretty near the actual tone.

The painting has been finished with a high gloss varnish made by Liquitex.
