作品描述

This painting is done with mixed media on canvas, including acrylic paint, painted papers and cardboard. I enjoy the loose feeling in this piece and the varied textures gotten from applying paint in different fashions as well as the brushed cardboard pieces that are often repeated elements in my mixed media works.

I spent a weekend in Jin Gu in 2017, and my impression of the place - the colors, the water, the vegetation, the humid air - this painting reflects some of that feeling back to me.
